About Becca...
Becca Sykes, M.Ed., LCMHC, LCAS, NCC, is a mental health clinician providing virtual therapy to teens and adults throughout North Carolina. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and her Master of Arts in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with a specialty in Addictions, from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.
Becca works with individuals navigating a variety of challenges and life experiences. As a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist, one of her primary areas of interest is supporting individuals who are navigating substance use, addiction, and the impact these experiences can have on their relationships, identity, and overall well-being.
Becca also has a passion for helping clients build healthier, more fulfilling relationships. She is Gottman Level 1 trained in couples therapy and enjoys working with couples as well as individuals who are seeking to better understand themselves and their relationships. In addition, Becca enjoys working with individuals navigating major life transitions. This may include adjusting to college, navigating changes in relationships, finding your sense of identity after divorce, or simply figuring out what comes next in a new chapter of life.
Becca's goal is to meet each client where they are, help them better understand themselves and their experiences, and work collaboratively toward meaningful change.
